Debbie has traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean in order to know the unique personalities of each island. Whether it is snorkeling, beaches suitable for swimming, or island attractions, you can take comfort in knowing that she will match you to the right island!

Active & Specialty Travel: An outdoor enthusiast, Debbie naturally takes to active itineraries.  She is known to say, “being active awakens the inner child and being outdoors stirs the soul”. Doesn’t riding a bike make you feel like a kid again?  There’s something magical about an early morning paddle in a kayak, just as nature begins to stir.

Let her instill that passion for adventure in you, too! But, don’t worry, adventure could simply mean traveling to remote destinations without ever breaking a sweat!

Debbie started the business in 1995.  In 2007 she changed the business name from “A Guest of Honor Luxury Vacations” to “Travel Experts of York” since she is affiliated with the Virtuoso agency, Travel Experts, Inc., of North Carolina.  This similarity makes it less confusing for suppliers and clients.

Debbie is a CTA (certified travel Agent) with the Travel Institute and has specialist certifications in the Caribbean and Adventure Travel.

She is a member of ASTA and The Adventure Travel Trade Association.

Debbie also participates in Virtuoso’s VAST program (Virtuoso Active & Specialty Travel).

Caroline, a recent graduate of the National College of Business and Technology with a diploma in Tourism and Hospitality, has chosen Travel Experts of York to begin her career in travel.
