As a travel advisor, I take several trips a year and tend to add a few pounds to my waistline very quickly! That may be why I enjoyed this multi-sport adventure in Costa Rica so much because we saw the country while being acitve and constantly enjoying the outdoors!
We biked, kayaked and went white water rafting. You will miss so much if you are traveling without a guide! It is amazing what they see and know - and how they keep you safe (and very entertained).
I now know why everyone goes back to Costa Rica several times! It is indeed incredible - and a great value.

While visiting my son in Ouray, Colorado, we hiked Mt. Sneffels at over 14,000' elevation! The scenery is worth the lack of oxygen - I swear I was on another planet. I sure did need that soak in the hot springs afterwards.
This little town of Ouray is full of adventure in all seasons!
