Born and raised in York, Debbie started this business in 1997, leaving behind a 13-year career as School Food Service Director.
As of November 2009, she is now a member of the Board of Directors for the Ogunquit Chamber of Commerce. Debbie has volunteered many hours to both the Chamber and to the Ogunquit Playhouse.
Debbie has traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean in order to know the unique personalities of each island. Whether it is snorkeling, beaches suitable for swimming, or island attractions, you can take comfort in knowing that she will match you to the right island!
My Latest Trip To The Dominican Republic
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic's most popular vacation area, stretches along a beautiful coastline of pristine beaches an hour's drive from one end to the other.
My journey there January 16-23, 2010 was two-fold:
- To experience the beauty & ambiance of Zoetry Agua Punta Cana Resort, as they are environmentally responsible AND had generously donated an entire 7-night stay to the Green Wedding Giveaway Contest as the runner-up couple's dream honeymoon.
- To experience the new development on the far eastern edge of Punta Cana called "Cap Cana", a mere ten minutes from the airport. This 35,000 acre parcel opened in 2004 with the first property, Caleton Beach Club. Now, six years later, there are two more luxury resorts operating (also under the same parent company as Zoetry, AMResorts): Secrets Sanctuary Cap Cana We spent three amazing nights here! I would have to write three pages to describe how wonderful this resort is.
Golden Bear Lodge Situated between two Jack Nicholas golf courses! Stunning suites with kitchens and a distant view of the ocean. I can't wait to send all of my avid golfers here!

There are several condominium & private home developments under way, as well as more luxury hotels like the Ritz Carlton. At completion, there will be six golf courses. Currently, one Jack Nicholas course is open and the first nine holes of the 2nd one should be open this summer. Scape Can Cana is a fun addition now offering children's programs, paintball, horseback riding, ATV's, zip lines, and more.
Cap Cana's marina, already well-developed and appealing to shoppers, diners, fishermen, and yachtsmen - will be the envy of the entire Caribbean.
